Check support while the sofa is being used, not only when it is empty.
Check from your seated position
Sit as you normally would and look for a broad level empty area within easy reach. Avoid seams, deep tufting and gaps between cushions. Support the entire base. A spot that seems flat on an empty sofa may slope once you sit beside it.
Think about the next movement
Consider someone sitting down, a recliner opening, a pet jumping up or a blanket being pulled. Move the drink before changing the sofa setup. Steadi is not a restraint against these movements and does not guarantee that the drink will remain upright.
Use furniture care as the guide
Steadi is not a waterproof coaster or a furniture-protection guarantee. Follow the upholstery maker’s care instructions and use an appropriate separate surface where moisture or spills would be a concern. Wipe and hand wash the holder as needed; do not assume its material makes every fabric suitable.
